We know waiting for results can feel stressful. This page explains when results are available, how we’ll contact you, and how you can check your results.

We will contact you if action is needed

If your results show something that needs urgent or follow‑up care, our clinical team will contact you. We will explain what the result means and what to do next.

If you have not heard from us after the timeframes below, please check your results in Health365 or contact us so we can confirm we have received and reviewed them.

Check your results online (Health365)

If you are enrolled with us, you can view many of your lab results through the secure Health365 patient portal. If you’re not registered yet, please ask our reception team — you’ll need photo ID so we can protect your privacy.

  1. Log in to Health365 using your username and password.
  2. From the menu, select Lab Results (sometimes shown under Health Summary).
  3. Choose the test to open the result. You may see a brief note about whether follow‑up is needed.
  4. If you do not understand a result, please book an appointment so a clinician can explain it.

Get results by phone

You can call the practice to request your results. For privacy, we will ask questions to confirm your identity before we share any health information. Reception staff may be able to confirm whether results are back; a nurse or doctor will discuss anything that needs clinical explanation.

How long results take

  • Many blood and urine results are available within a few days.
  • Some tests can take up to 2 weeks (or occasionally longer).
  • If it has been 2 weeks and you still cannot see your results in Health365, please contact us.

If you feel unwell, don’t wait for results

If your symptoms are getting worse or you are worried, please contact us for advice. For urgent concerns, call emergency services (111) or go to your nearest urgent care or emergency department.
