Dr Khadder Aweidah
Welcome! I am Dr. Khadder Aweidah, a dedicated general practitioner committed to providing you and your family quality healthcare. After graduating from Hungary in 1992, I relocated to New Zealand in 1996 and have since been a part of the healthcare system here. Initially, I worked in hospitals until 2006 when I transitioned to general practice, a field that truly aligns with my passion for holistic patient care.
In 2008, I achieved membership in the Royal NZ College of Urgent Care Doctors and earned a fellowship from the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. With extensive experience serving the diverse communities of East and South Auckland, I am well-equipped to address various medical needs, from family medicine to treating accidents and sporting injuries. I am also experienced in minor surgeries, ensuring comprehensive care for my patients.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy outdoor activities and cherish time spent with my family. Nurse Karishma works alongside me and ensures that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently.

Dr Saima Rashid
Hi! I am Dr. Saima Rashid, devoted to offering comprehensive healthcare and enhancing my patients’ well-being. My journey began in Pakistan, where I obtained my Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in 2010. After practicing as a gynaecologist in the Middle East, I relocated to New Zealand, working in various hospitals before transitioning to a general practitioner role in 2020.
My special interests include women’s health, contraception, sexual health, and minor surgical procedures. I take pleasure in engaging with families and fostering positive health changes. Partnering with my practice nurse, Nazmun, I accept new patients. Please contact our reception team Monday to Friday, 8 am -5 pm, on (09) 255 0600 for enrolment details. Dr Wahida Amran-Safi
Greetings! My name is Dr. Wahida Amran-Safi, and I am a devoted general practitioner passionately committed to delivering exceptional healthcare to you and your family.
I graduated from the University of Otago in 2013. After graduating, I completed my internship at Auckland City Hospital, then joined the GP training program at Mangere Health Centre.
In 2016, I started my first Locum position with the wonderful team at MHC and completed my GP fellowship in 2019. I left MHC to get married and returned in mid-2021, right in the middle of the pandemic! I’ve since been working alongside this lovely community for the last 4 years.
Nurses Venet and Rachel work alongside me and ensure that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently. I am currently accepting new patients and would be delighted to welcome you to my practice. Dr Rekha Das
Hello! I am delighted to welcome new patients. I graduated from Mumbai University in India and have been part of this wonderful community since 2010. As a fellow with the Royal NZ College of General Practice, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my special interests in Paediatrics and Women’s Health.
Outside of work, I cherish walking and spending quality time with my family. I am excited to extend my care to you and your loved ones. My patient books are open for enrolment. Dr Chuan-Chuan Lan
Hi, I’m a dedicated GP with a strong focus on women’s and children’s health. Locally trained at Auckland Medical School, I bring a deep understanding of the healthcare needs of New Zealand communities.
As a proud mum of three, I combine my professional expertise with personal insight to provide compassionate care. Outside of the medical practice, I enjoy exploring new recipes and having fun outings with my family.

Dr Satya Subramanian
Hi, I graduated from Madias University in India, and I’ve been working at The Mangere Health Centre since 2010. I have gained experience working and focusing on women’s health and pediatrics. I’m a fellow with the Royal NZ College of General Practice. I enjoy gardening and traveling.

Dr Anwitee Udayam
Kia ora,
I graduated from St George’s University of London in 2018 and moved back home to New Zealand in 2021. I then worked in various hospital roles, from Paediatrics to Public Health.
I enjoy working in South Auckland and love supporting patients in our community. I have special interests in children’s and women’s health and long-term conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure.
I strongly believe in preventative care and like to work closely with our other wonderful care providers to achieve the best health outcomes possible for our patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I recently became a mum, so I’m embracing and enjoying my new role. I also love hiking and swimming at our beautiful beaches in Tamaki Makaurau.
Dr Timothy Hou
Hi, I have been working at the Mangere Health Centre since 1999 and have enjoyed forming relationships with many families in that time. I am a graduate of the University of Otago and have post-grad diplomas in sports medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology, and A&E medicine. I am SCOPE certified in obesity medicine and I am also a master practitioner in NLP. I previously worked part-time as the GP clinical lead for the Planned, Proactive Care program at Counties Manukau Health & was the GP lead for Diabetes at Counties Manukau Health. I’m now fulltime back at Mangere Health Centre and have an interest in all aspects of family medicine and enjoy developing team-based care with several excellent nurses.

Dr J David Hall
I have been a family GP at MHC specializing in total family health care for more than 30 years. I enjoy General Practice in South Auckland and feel priviledged to be able to play a supportive and continuous advisory role to all my regular patients and families.
I have special interests in children’s and women’s health and encourage regular checkups. I provide care, advice, and management for all aspects of health, including asthma, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, gout and arthritis, maternity shared care, and contraception.
I am an advocate of preventative care regarding lifestyle changes, promoting a healthy diet, regular exercise, weight loss, and early detection and correction of possible long-term illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure so that ongoing damage can be avoided or kept to a minimum.

Our Health Coach can provide the knowledge, skills, and confidence to help you reach your health goals.
Bula, I have been a Health Coach at Mangere Health Centre since May 2022. I’m of Fijian/Indian heritage. I have a Degree in Sports and Recreation and a background in Nutrition. I enjoy my role and being part of the clinic team, working together to help the community.
Consultations with the Health Coach are free! Will accept walk-ins and appointments.
