Kia ora everyone,

This is Tessa here, the Health Improvement Practitioner at Māngere Health Centre.

I wanted to let you know that, due to a change in my whānau circumstances, I’ll soon be relocating and have made the difficult decision to step away from my role at the clinic. My last day at Māngere Health Centre will be Friday 29 May 2026.

I’ve truly loved my time here and feel very grateful to have been able to walk alongside many of you for a part of your wellbeing journeys. Thank you for trusting me with your stories and for the courage you’ve shown in talking through and working on some really challenging things. Please keep going with this work, those small steps really do add up over time!

I know you’ll continue to be looked after by the amazing team at Māngere Health Centre. If you need support, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. While a new Health Improvement Practitioner is being recruited, the team will happily help where they can, or support you to connect with another service if needed.

Thank you again for allowing me to be part of your journey, it’s been a real privilege.

All the best,
Tessa
